180° short step drills
Red'X coating
HSS-E Cobalt + Red'X = hardness 65 HRC, to machine steels up to 1000 N/mm², Cast irons up to 200 HB, copper, brass, bronze, aluminium. The Red'X coating = hardness 3500 HV considerably increases the tool life for intensive use, by increasing wear resistance and improving surface finish.

The magafor step drills are designed for combining both boring and counterboring for standardized capscrews in a single operation. Their short concept offers to the user :
rigidity - performance - reduction of the costs.
